How CarpoolDragon Works

Carpool tickets happen. We're exploring a better way to handle the cost.

CarpoolDragon is developing a membership concept designed to help drivers with the cost of eligible HOV and carpool-lane citations.

Proposed Membership Benefits

A tiered reimbursement model

Our proposed structure would provide different reimbursement percentages based on a member's history of approved claims.

First approved claim

90%

Proposed reimbursement of an eligible ticket amount.

Second approved claim

75%

Proposed reimbursement of an eligible ticket amount.

Third approved claim

50%

Proposed reimbursement of an eligible ticket amount.

How claim history would work: The proposed claim tiers would not reset annually. After a third approved claim, CarpoolDragon would review the membership to determine whether it could continue under the final program rules.

These benefits are proposals only. No reimbursement is currently offered or guaranteed.

How the membership could work

1

Become a member

If launched and legally authorized, CarpoolDragon plans to offer a membership starting at $20 per month.

2

Submit an eligible ticket

Members would submit their HOV or carpool-lane citation and required supporting information.

3

We review the claim

Each submission would be reviewed against the program's eligibility requirements, exclusions, and reimbursement limits.

4

Receive eligible reimbursement

If approved, reimbursement would follow the applicable claim tier and final membership terms.
